I was thinking about my old man earlier and the times we had at the old ground. Among my memories was a friendly in the early 70's against SLOVAN BRATASLAVA. Think it was a 1-1 and my only real memory of it is the pitch being an absolute SWAMP and somehow Martin Peters was the only playet not covered in mud by half time.
Any of you old uns got any similar tales?

Jimmy Iron, I was there too. Dean Martin came on for us and mugged one their defenders but the highlight was definitely Macca's left hand!
